The wedge you built is great. I hit a few times on Monday and it did just fine. On one hole, the par-4 13th, I used it from a green-side sand trap and got it on the green and made a seven-footer for birdie!

Also, I just had to get back to you with more good news. I shot a 77 today with a 1-over 37 on the back nine. For about two weeks now I have been playing with the Taylor-Made irons you re-shafted for me. They are great. I can't remember ever having a day like today where I was hitting them dead solid. Had I made some putts on the front, I would have done better than 77!!

[The Quick Strike II] works GREAT! I needed the 31 degree face on a club the length and weight of a 2 iron. My get out of trouble club! If not in trouble it still drops the ball like a wedge but from a greater distance. :-) :-)

Tony, You are the Man!

The Snake Eyes Quick Strike Tour 24 is a 9 out of 10 shots "right on" club. I'm getting a lot of "what was that thing?" after MANY great shots. Everyone has a perfect trajectory, and my only errors have been turning it over a little much and going a little left on every 10th shot or so. VERY PLEASED! Best rescue club I have ever hit!

The wedge arrived and was exactly what my husband was looking for. He has used it twice and loves it. He's a low handicap, like a 4. When he was at the practice range one of the guys asked him why he's practicing---every shot was right at the practice pin---he was using the new wedge.

I have owned what is thought to be the best clubs on the market. I have tried all the cutting edge equipment and found little to no know results in trimming down my handicap. After 4+ years of the highest quality work, I am pleased that you are a secret no longer. Tony's Custom Golf has handled everything from annual regrip (Golf Pride Tour Velvet Midsize on ALL Woods and Irons) to full set reshafts (Cobra SS Forged from DGS300 to Tour Flight Rifle 5.5s for 2-LW, Cleveland TA3 Gunmetal TFR 5.5) to driver and fairway metals (Callaway Hawkeye Pro Series install Grafalloys in driver, 3+, and 4+), to temper tantrums ("I don't know how the shaft broke after I couldn't get my 2-iron airborne???!!!!"). Tony has always been precise, professional, and complete. His work is exemplary...plain and simple.

This year so far, the regrip is completed, my driver shaft will be pured this year, and "an experiment with a combination CB/MB iron set" with components is on the schedule for this summer. There is no other clubmaker, anywhere, that I would turn over my bag to.

When they first came out I demo'd and liked the Callaway's Great Big Bertha II but didn't want to spend the kind of money they were asking so I asked Tony at Tony's Custom Golf to make me something comparable. He took the time to go over the specifications on the brand of shaft that would be suitable for my game as well as the flex - not to mention the correct loft of the club head given my swing speed.

I could not be happier and have recently been getting close to 300 yards off the tee which I owe in large measure to his diligent help and products. Tony's Custom Golf has helped me with regrips as well and, every time, their communication and timeliness are always excellent - not to mention the prices!
